Digital Literacy - This is a 15-20 hour program designed to give the student the basics of using a computer for the 21st Century.  Both youth and adults are encouraged to participate in this class.

  • Computer Basics - basic use of the operating system, explore components of a computer and how to use the mouse and keyboard.

  • The Internet - introduces concept of ISPs, how to connect, how to use search engines and the exchange of email.

  • Software Applications - explores the most used software programs in business, in education and at home.

  • Computer Privacy and Security - explains risks and threats to computer security and privacy.

  • A Digital Lifestyle - covers cell phones, MP3 players, digital cameras and how they are shaping the world we live in.
